Prophetic counselling incorporates the gift from God to be able to hear his voice and follow his lead during the counselling process. The prophetic gifting develops through personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ. There are many ways through which we learn to know what God is saying ie firstly to have a sound knowledge of the word of God from the bible. From this God can draw out those thoughts he requires for the time. This can be a scripture that is relevant itself, a thought, a vision, an impression. He can help the process of recovering memories so that these can be healed.

The whole counsel of God refers to the interaction of Father, Son and Holy Spirit as in John 16 verses 4b-15. I always invite the whole counsel of God to be present at every session and what is dealt with is determined by God.

Deliverance from Freemasonry: I use predominantly “breaking the chains” ministry material as the layout is very clear and thorough. Breaking the chains ministry was based in Te Awamutu Nth Island New Zealand. Their material is updated as more information comes to light. I find the format very thorough and systematic. It is a combination of (renunciation) breaking off vows, cutting of soul ties, symbolic removal of Freemasonry clothing, releasing from particular problem areas for client and affirmation of the real person. I also use resources from Yvonne Kitchens material to throw light on some of the areas that need understanding ie explanations of terminology.

Theophostic Ministry is about dealing with the original causes of emotional pain. Often we will operate out of what we believe from our emotions rather than what is referred to as rational or factual. The way we act often tells a different truth that we don’t often verbally acknowledge as truth. Four of the principals dealt with through Theophostic ministry looks at

• “My present situation is not the primary source of my emotional pain
• The present situation “triggers” familiar painful emotions
• Everything has a beginning and a source of origin. “I feel what I have long believed”. The present is a reflection of the past.
• If I try to resolve my present conflict without finding healing for my past wounds, I will at best only find temporary relief. But if I heal from my past I can redeem my present. The echo of the past is released as the primary source of the present situation.”

• Please note: Theophostic means God shining his light into dark places. It is not new age, cognitive therapy, guided imagery or visualization, hypnotic suggestion or regressive therapy. Instead God is in control and guides the whole process
